Nothing Else After This - 2014

The inevitability of our last moment is always an unknown. It will come at a random and unexpected time, only truly reflected upon after the fact. This work looks at the recalled and remembered stories of people’s last words, as told by those who were present to experience them. These words have been visually transformed from written and spoken language to represent that often overlooked and fleeting instant. Each image tells an individual and uniquely different tale, reinterpreted and displayed as a singular distillation of the experience of last moments.
