Imagined Landscapes - 2013
This series was where my 'A Lost Man' project found its legs. Due to a happy accident while playing around with blending and overlapping some of my images, I stumbled upon this way of combining multiple landscapes I had shot. Using different sized images, I aim to create a window into another and alternate reality, a space that simultaneously does and does not exist. I became interested in the importance of space, everyday areas, and how to make something recognizable yet also completely alien in one photograph.
